Experiment

I created this by using a tea bag to stain a piece of paper, I then drew the outline of three different feathers and scanned it all in to photoshop where I put both things together and inserted a pattern to go as the fill colour for the feathers.

This is my first attempt.

Above you can see the process I did to achieve this. I decided instead of using a patter to use one of my own photos as a background. You can see what it finally looked like on my CD template.

Here are a few drawings I did for the experiment above.

Experiment- Watercolour Feathers (work in progress screenshots)

I drew a few feathers using fine liner and water colour, I edited them on photoshop to make the colours suit my work better, did the by changing the levels and saturations of the colour.

Here I am putting the feathers that I edited on to my work and made this. I did it by putting the feather at the top of the page and dragging the centre point in to the middle and rotating, I did this repeatedly until the box I was working in was full.

Experiment- Photo of tree

I took this picture of a tree and put it in to photoshop to edit the levels of the colour to create a nicer look and effect. Above is the tree without any editing and below is after I was finished, I made the tones in the picture more purple to fit in nicely with the colour scheme on my CD design

Here I added light leaks to the image of the tree and put in a picture of a silhouette, I finished off by putting my album and artist name on it as I think its an interesting and appealing image to use for the main image

Above I just placed it in to my CD design.

On photoshop I created a few badges using images that relate to my original CD design.
